Having the bus leave at the same time you arrive feels even betterer.

But, nothing beats beating the bus to the stop. Often times at college, I can get to the stop before the bus can, on the other side of campus.
I hate public transport too, at least here, if your pass card doesn't work, they treat you like you stole the card, until they find proof that it's yours.
